Ep 4: Building The Community We Want With Nadia Ecyomuhendo & Aaron Azigabe

Joined by two members and leaders of CARY Toronto (Canadian Association of Rwandan Youth). Nadia Ecyomuhendo, Aaron Azigabe, and Lydia discussed the idea of community and what it means to them. Do we feel supported by the community? What’s missing? What can we do better to build the community we want? We also discussed the identity issues we face as Afro-Black People of having to navigate this space knowing that we all come from different backgrounds. Yet, in the eyes of Western society, we are all just Black People.  How can we overcome our challenges so we can thrive as a community?
